Worldwide Specialty Education is extendable with the following rules:
- Minimum initial purchase duration: 3 Months
- Maximum extended duration: 364 Days
- Extension fee: 0
Extensions can be made for 3 months or longer duration at a time.
Blue Cross Blue Shield Global Solutions will send renewal notices about 45 days before the policy expires. You may respond to the renewal email you receive or email [email protected] to extend your plan.
NOTE: This is an extension of the policy and NOT a new policy. That means that if something happens in the previous policy period, it will not be considered a pre-existing condition. While if you take a new policy, it will be considered a pre-existing condition. Thus, the ability to extend is a big advantage.
All extension fees, if any, are charged by the insurance company. There are no additional fees (or any other fees) charged by Insubuy®.
